What is aggrotech?

As a subgenre of industrial music, aggrotech (aka "Terror EBM", "harsh electro" or electro-industrial) falls inbetween EBM and powernoise. Aggrotech as a word is mix between the words "aggressive" and "technology", which describes the music better than anything else.

Most aggrotech artists began producing music in the late 90s and early 2000s, but the whole spirit of aggrotech can be traced further back, starting from Throbbing Gristle, Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Nurse with wound, Coil and Nitzer Ebb.

Die Sektor with new Album.

New Die Sektor album is on the way, looking at 9 tracks at least. There are a couple instrumentals, as there were on TBFU.

The new stuff is not as heavy, but still has a nice evil touch to it, and is more along the lines of really technical. It expands a lot on what you think of as industrial for sure. There are still some super bangin heavy songs though, so don't worry.
Also, there is a line-up change amongst the members. Die Sektor will most likely be playing at least a half dozen or more shows in the 2,3,4 months, most likely along east-coast USA. But, noone will be disappointed! Some people may be hoping for all out heavy brutality, but it's certainly NOT going to be sub-par in any way. Get excited!
